Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco was born in Canada and is American. There are more than 20 albums that have been made available by her. DiFranco's music has been classified as folk and alternative rock but also has influence from hip beat and jazz. A feminist icon widely recognized as Grammy recipient Ani DiFranco is considered to be the father of the DIY movement, and was among the first musicians to launch her own record label in the year 1990. DiFranco's parents were Elizabeth (Ross), a ex-student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Dante Americo DiFranco met each one another while students at the same school. Her father was of Italian origin and her mother was from Montreal. Ani DiFranco composed and performed 32 Flavors. The track was first released on DiFranco's 1995 sixth album Not a Pretty Girl. The song appears on the movie soundtrack of 1999's Canadian romantic comedy Better Than Chocolate. DiFranco apologized to host a seminar in Louisiana in an old slave plantation. The event was cancelled however, certain (including the newspaper) didn't see it as a sign of regret. DiFranco released a new apology days later. Ani's new baritone was a custom Alvarez guitar, designed by Chrys Johnston, who at the time was the Alvarez Artist Rep. The guitar is a System 600 guitar with solid wooden tops made of cedar, mahogany for the back and sides, as well as Ebony for the fretboard. The couple lives with their two children living in New Orleans and Lefty, their dog with long legs that is never out of the frame. DiFranco is admitting that, three decades after her debut in music, she still feels mixed when she looks at her past. Ani DiFranco, a punk/folk musician and songwriter who was 25 years old when she debuted her seventh album Not A Pretty Girl and achieved even more success in the music industry by releasing Dilate. From her debut album Looking Glass, Brandy is an 1972 American pop-rock song. The song was composed by Looking Glass lead guitarist and co-vocalist Elliot Lurie.
