Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco was born in Canada and is American. There are more than 20 albums that have been made available by her. DiFranco's music has been classified as folk and alternative rock but also has influence from hip beat and jazz. A feminist icon widely recognized as Grammy recipient Ani DiFranco is considered to be the father of the DIY movement, and was among the first musicians to launch her own record label in the year 1990.
