Perry is Perry is a Chicago native who was she was born into Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. In addition, she played the younger Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon - an CBS spin-off of The Big Bang Theory. Despite having a family connection to the character she got the part through an audition.
